Jeanna
Jeanna has been with Recker Dental Care since February 2004. After graduating from DMACC as a dental assistant in 1998, she began her dental career as an assistant in oral surgery. After 6 years in Ames, her and her husband moved back to Oskaloosa where they still reside. They have 2 boys, Connor and Cole. Jeanna enjoys attending their activities, watching her husband race, traveling and spending time with friends.
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn has been a part of Recker Dental Care since November 2020. She is recently married to her husband Dylan. They live in Monroe with their dog Alvey that they love to spend time with. In their free time they enjoy taking Alvey on walks, kayaking, traveling to new places and spending time with friends and family.
Lori
Lori joined Recker Dental Care in June of 2004. She is the “Swiss Army Knife” for the office. In other words, Lori does a little bit of everything. Lori is married to Kenny. They live in Pella and have two married daughters and three awesome grandchildren. When they are not spending time with family, they enjoy traveling, watching college football and gardening.
Abbi
Abbi has been at Recker Dental Care since 2008. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients and seeing positive changes in their periodontal health over time. When she is not cleaning teeth, she can be found spending time with her son or trying to convince her husband they need more animals.
Bailey
Bailey has been a hygienist with Recker dental care since 2019. She is married to Jason, a dairy farmer in Sully. Together they have a son Clay. Bailey is originally from Newton and got her hygiene degree at Iowa Central Community College in 2012. Her passion is to help her patients by achieving an overall healthy mouth. She likes to get to know her patients on a personal level making them feel comfortable. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and dogs on the farm.
Deb
Deb has been a hygienist at Recker Dental Care since January 2004. She also has previous experience as a hygienist in a periodontal office. Deb lives in Newton with her husband Jim and their many animals.
Alyssa
Alyssa has been a hygienist since 2012 and joined Recker Dental Care in 2021. She is married, a mom of 5 children and has 1 kitty. Alyssa and her family live in Brooklyn. When Alyssa isn't rocking it as a mom, wife, and hygienist, she loves to play piano, do yoga, spend time outdoors, is a Halloween/horror fanatic, and considers herself a life-long learner.
Jana
Jana started with Recker Dental Care in 1995. She was the first dental hygienist to join the practice which only had three employees at the time. Jana enjoys getting to know her patients and developing relationships with them. She is grateful to be making a difference in their dental health.
Kim
Kim has been a hygienist at Recker Dental Care since 2004. She began working here right after graduating from DMACC. She is married to Brad, and he is a barber in Pella. Together they have 5 children: Kyli, Elah, Vyncent, Hudson and Addyson. Kim stays very busy with the kids’ schedules. When she has spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising and church activities.
Heather
Heather has worked at Recker Dental Care since 2018. She fills in when we have another hygienist on vacation or other leave. She comes from the Halls of Montezuma and lives at Lake Ponderosa with her husband John. They enjoy their 4 adult children, 6 grandchildren and hosting gatherings at their home. She has worked in the dental field since the beginning of time and enjoys the family atmosphere that Recker Dental Care provides.
Leah
Leah joined Recker Dental Care in October 2021. She is married to Corey and together they have 2 children: Kyler and Jayde. They farm near Reasnor and love spending time outdoors and taking ranger rides.
Debbie
Debbie has been an assistant with Dr. Leigh since 2003. Debbie and her husband, Chris, live and farm in Reasnor. Together they have four children: Ellyse, Avery, Jaxson and Adalyn. When they aren’t busy following all their kids to their activities, they enjoy camping and spending time outdoors.
Kara
Kara has been an assistant at Recker Dental Care since 2016. She is currently Dr. Jeff’s assistant. Kara was married to her husband Dustin in 2021. Together they enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends and spending their summers drag racing in Eddyville.
Marla
Marla has been an assistant for Dr. Eric since he started practicing in 2002. Marla is married to Carroll and has four grown children and four incredible grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, flower gardening and antiquing. Marla’s favorite part of dentistry is the relationships she has made with her patients over the years.
Amy
Amy joined the team at Recker Dental Care in 2022. She is native to northwest Iowa. She received her dental assisting diploma from Western Iowa Tech in 2014 and has been assisting ever since. Amy also has her expanded functions certificate as a dental assistant. Amy is a single mom to her son Max. He keeps her busy with baseball and soccer. In her spare time, she is a “Maxanista” and savvy thrifter.
